The staff were very helpful, even when the restaurant was very busy, I was found a table, if you want to stay some place that's a bit off the wall, the jail cell is that.

It was a midway point stop for me between home and Cherbourg. I had the jail cell room! The room was exactly what it says! At 39Euro it is fine. Perhaps some of the other rooms would have been more comfortable but it was okay for a night. The bar and restaurant were busy and excellent value for money. Great service from very friendly staff, all of whom spoke good English.

Travelling alone, I really enjoyed the unique themed rooms and the attention to detail in the interior design. The facilities were top-notch, especially the bathtub in the Jim Bim Lodge. The breakfast buffet was excellent and the surrounding area was beautiful.

The location of the hotel was very convenient, with easy access from the motorway. The restaurant served good food, and we enjoyed a filling and tasty dinner during our stay. The unique themes of the motel rooms added a bit of excitement and made our experience a bit different from the norm.

There were a few negative aspects to our stay. The shower in our room had a strong smell, which was quite unpleasant.

The decoration of the hotel was charming and brought back memories of my younger days. The common areas were well-maintained and accessible for senior people like myself. The hotel's location in a rural area provided a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

The only thing I would have asked for to make it a better vacation for senior people is more assistance from the children working there. While they were friendly, a bit more attention to detail and assistance with luggage would have been appreciated.

The bathroom facilities were subpar - it was uncomfortable that the toilet was in the same room as the bed, and the shower was difficult to use without making a mess. there was no breakfast offered in the morning, and parking was difficult to find due to the high volume of guests from the restaurant.

The rooms being themed are not to everyone's taste and although clean the decor was not for me personally. While the WiFi was free the connection was an issue and continuity poor. With no tea or coffee in the room and the restaurant extremely busy it lacked what others provide in the area.

If you're looking for unique accommodation that's a little bit different, this hotel is for you. The themed rooms are very cool and interesting, with a good attention to detail. The on-site restaurant is large with a great variety of food options and the views of the surrounding hills and valleys are fantastic.

The WiFi was a bit unreliable during our stay and some of the rooms lacked adequate soundproofing, making it noisy at night. some rooms had awkward layouts, including a toilet without a door or divider that made privacy an issue.

Value for money and a great restaurant, met some real interesting people in the bar and at breakfast. Ideal stop off on the way back to Amsterdam from the German MotoGp.Would stay there again , no problems.

I recently had a fantastic overnight stay at a hotel that offered a unique experience. The room I stayed in was a room with a bit of a difference, located in the "Jail House" section of the hotel. The attention to detail in this room was excellent, making it a fun and memorable stay. The dinner at the hotel restaurant was delicious and filling, definitely worth the small wait. The motel also provided private bathrooms, which I found to be great value. If you're traveling by car, this place is perfect and the themed motel rooms add an element of fun to your stay.
